Unlike most commercial ports, the Varna port is not so busy off-season. The harbour area is a attractive place for fishing because it’s enclosed, water is clean and full of various fish typical for the Black Sea. Most of the people do fishing as a hobby and frequently they throw the cought fish back to the water. The man on the picture was intentionally shot at his back, thus creating a “faceless”=”nameless” fisherman. On the other hand I see most of fishermen staring at the sunset in the evening. This resembles me a mood of calmness and relax, far from the busy city life.
