The Los Angeles Center of Photography is pleased to announce its Sixth Annual STREET WEEK in LA event. What started over a weekend has now broadened to a week – STREET WEEK.

STREET WEEK includes:

• Call for entries for LACP’s Sixth Annual “Street Shooting Around the World” exhibition at LACP (deadline to submit December 16th). 1st prize is $1000!
• Opening reception for “Street Shooting Around the World” exhibition Friday night.
• A full day of presentations by inspiring street photographers
• A panel discussion on the laws and ethics of street photography
• Three half-day workshops with street photographers/educators Ibarionex Perello, Kevin Weinstein, and Thomas Alleman
• A weeklong workshop with Julia Dean, LACP’s executive director
• A two-day workshop “Street Photography in Los Angeles” with London-based street photographer David Gibson
