As I was waiting in a coin laundry reading a book, I noticed this interesting looking bridge, located on a local train line in Kagawa. I checked my camera settings and waited in the cool of the air-conditioned laundromat. When I heard the crossing signal ringing, I jumped up, walked outside, crossed the street and took the picture. The line (and the bridge) first came into operation in 1912. In 2015 the bridge was designated a national “Civil Engineering Heritage Site”.
