The Municipal Gallery organizes in collaboration with the “Observe Collective” the 2. int. street photography festival in Iserlohn. From June 24th till June 26th we will show at five different locations exhibits with more than 500 pictures from photographers, students, and different collectives.

Street photography, who had its first heights during the days of Surrealism and humanistic photography, is reliving a unique renaissance via activities, competitions, and the world wide web in the past few years. People get together and overcome ethnic, cultural, and geographical borders. This kind of exchange has become a new form of an intercultural dialogue that builds bridges in the best sense of the word.
