Lomography Unveils the 35mm Film Camera LomoApparat

The LomoApparat, a 35mm film camera that is super-wide and simple to use, has been introduced by Lomography. It accepts any 35mm film, has fixed settings, and is crammed with what the manufacturer claims creative features. Following the recent launch of a tiny film camera that fits in the palm of your hand, Lomography has now added a second film camera that is larger but has a few rather unusual features that set it apart from other simple point-and-shoot film options currently available. These features include an unusually wide field of view and several innovative lens options.

In addition to having a 21mm wide-angle lens, the LomoApparat also has three other lens attachments and what Lomography refers to as experimental features. According to the manufacturer, the camera was made to be used by photographers of all skill and experience levels. The “traditional analog character” of the small camera is characterized by vignetting, high contrast, saturation, and film grain, according to Lomography.

The photographer can use the 21mm lens more often thanks to the lens adapters. Subjects stay focused even up close thanks to the close-up lens attachment, which alters the minimum object distance of 0.2 meters (about 7.9 inches). The kaleidoscope lens, the second attachment, produces “unpredictable, experimental results,” according to Lomography. The splitzer lens attachment, which the firm claims can be utilized for distinctive multiple-exposure compositions, is the third lens attachment.

The camera offers several alternatives inside its preset settings, which weren’t made public before publishing. For instance, a switch can be used to configure it for lengthy or multiple exposures. The built-in flash allows it to function in various lighting situations, and the optional and interchangeable colored gel filters provide users with more creative options.

Here are a few examples of photos taken using the brand-new Lomography LomoApparat 35mm film camera:

The new camera will be available from Lomography in two versions: a traditional black leather style and a genuine Italian leather Neubau edition with striking turquoise trim. The price of the black leather choice is $89, while the price of the Neubau version is somewhat more at $99.
