On July 5th opens to the public the seventh edition of ImagOrbetello, the photographic festival that is by now a reality of the Tuscan Silver Coast (Costa d’Argento). As usual, this summer the festival will propose guests, exhibitions, events, and workshops. Up to July 31st, it is still possible to send photos for the ImagO Photo Contest 2019, open to everyone.

By this year the competition categories go up to five. We added ‘Mobile Photography’, reserved exclusively to images taken with smartphones and tablets, and ‘Projects’, reserved to collections of images linked in form of a portfolio or photographic project, to those by now consolidated, dedicated to ‘Landscape’, ‘Portrait’ and ‘Street Photography’.

Images can be sent in electronic format using the appropriate upload form, available on the imagorbetello.com website at https://www.imagorbetello.com/il-concorso.

All images and projects will be viewed by the jury composed by Andrea Boccalini; Vieri Bottazzini; Fulvio Bugani; Camilla Ferrari; Mosé Franchi for ImageMag; Eolo Perfido; José Ramos; Umberto Verdoliva.

All the finalist photographs of the categories: ‘Landscape’, ‘Portrait’, ‘Street Photography’ and ‘Mobile’ will be exposed in the exhibition that will take place from August 31 to September 8, 2019 at the “Polveriera Guzman”, in Orbetello, and will compete for the following prizes up for grabs: n°1 Amazon voucher worth 450 euros, to the first classified; a Nanuk Italia photographic equipment suitcase, to the runner-up; a 50×75 cm. print on AE Frame Wall Wood Slats – Album Epoca, to the third classified.

All images in the ‘Landscape’ category will also compete for the ‘Vieri Bottazzini Workshop’ Special Prize, which consists of a voucher worth 250 euros, valid for participation in one of Vieri’s various workshops.

The series of images in the ‘Projects’ category will compete for a 450 euro Amazon voucher and the publication in the ImageMag magazine too, as well as on the imagorbetello.com website.
All the projects received will also be evaluated by the festival’s Art Director for setting up exhibitions in the upcoming editions.
