TTArtisan Announces an AF 56mm f/1.8 and a Limited Edition AF 27mm f/2.8 Lenses
In China, TTArtisan introduced two new APS-C prime lenses, including an AF 56mm f/1.8 lens for E, X, and Z mount cameras and a limited-edition yellow AF 27mm f/2.8 lens for Fujifilm X Series cameras.
The two new primes have not yet been listed on Amazon or Pergear, TTArtisan’s US retailers; they were first seen in Chinese social media posts posted by the Japanese photography site Asobinet.
On APS-C mirrorless cameras, the AF 56mm f/1.8 lens boasts an 85mm focal length, making it ideal for portrait shooting. The lens has a nine-bladed aperture and ten lens elements distributed across nine groups. It consists of an ultra-low dispersion element and two high-refractive-index lenses.
According to TTArtisan, the AF-equipped lens can focus as near as 0.5 meters. It’s also a small prime lens, weighing between 233 and 245 grams and measuring only 62mm long.
If nothing else, the limited edition yellow TTArtisan AF 27mm f/2.8 “C” prime lens is eye-catching. The pancake lens for Fujifilm X Series cameras is one of the most vividly colored lenses, sporting colors often associated with Kodak – yellow and red.
Except for its spectacular colors, the lens is identical to the normal AF 27mm f/2.8 lens in every manner. It is a low-cost lens that provides photographers with a tiny 40mm-equivalent lens.
The AF 56mm f/1.8 lens will cost a little more than 900 Chinese Yuan ($125).
There is currently no information regarding when the limited-edition yellow lens will be available for purchase outside of China. It is also unknown if the lens will be offered in Z and E mounts, similar to the standard black version.
