Hollyland Announces the Pyro 7 All-in-One Wireless Video Transceiver
Hollyland introduced the Pyro 7, a wireless video monitor that integrates TX, RX, and a seven-inch recording monitor into a single lightweight, durable device. In addition to the Pyro S and Pyro H, the Pyro 7 offers a small monitoring and transmission solution.
Hollyland expands their wireless video monitoring family of products with the Pyro 7. This all-in-one TX, RX, and 7-inch bright 1200 nits monitor solution (1920×1200 display) allows for simultaneous connection of one transmitter to up to four receivers. It is also compatible with other Pyro products in this series, including the Pyro S and Pyro H, as seen at this year’s NAB. According to the manufacturer, the Pyro 7’s Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) technology allows for a long and clean operational range of up to 1,300ft (400m), with a latency of 60ms.
Other available features include dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz, auto frequency, dual-view quick monitoring switch, SDI/HDMI input/output, and loopout. Furthermore, there is RTMP streaming and an SD card slot for up to 40 minutes of video recording.
The Pyro 7 is currently available for pre-order for $549, while the kit (which includes two displays) is available for $999. A transmission and monitoring system that includes the Pyro 7 transceiver/recording monitor and the Pyro S 4K transmitter and receiver equipment costs $899.
