TTArtisan Announces a New 75mm f/2 AF Lens for Nikon Z and Sony E-Mount

TTArtisan has unveiled a new 75mm f/2 autofocus lens for Nikon Z and Sony E-mount cameras. The lens, which has a 32-degree field of view, is capable of flawlessly capturing a subject’s proportions and details and can be used for both full-body and close-up portraits.

The TTArtisan 75mm f/2 has any exterior switches or buttons, therefore switching between manual and autofocus must be done through the associated camera’s menu.

The lens’s optical structure consists of ten components grouped in seven groups, including one extra-low dispersion (ED) element in the center and four high refractive index elements — two on each side of the ED element. The lens has a nine-bladed diaphragm and an aperture range of f/2 to f/16. The front filter thread measures 62mm.

A lead-screw stepping motor powers Focus, according to TTArtisan. The lens also contains a USB-C input port on the back of the lens cap, which, when connected to a computer, allows it to be firmware updated.

The connection is accomplished via electronic contacts on the lens mount, and according to TTArtisan, this design was chosen to improve the lens’s looks.

The TTArtisan AF 75mm f/2 full-frame autofocus lens will be available for Nikon Z and Sony E mounts starting today for $178.
