Imagen’s new AI-powered function is intended to streamline photographers’ post-production operations, but it comes with a cost.

Imagen, an AI-powered image processing suite, has introduced a new function to help photographers streamline their post-production workflow. Imagen calls this “Edit To Delivery,” a first-of-its-kind solution for reducing lengthy post-production time.

According to Imagen CEO and Co-Founder Yotham Gil, the company’s mission is to provide a “fully streamlined, camera-to-delivery workflow, revolutionizing how photographers manage their craft.” Gil goes on to say that Imagen is dedicated to “empowering photographers to focus on their true passion: creating unforgettable moments,” thanks to the company’s ability to save substantial amounts of time in the post-production process.

To ease photo delivery and publishing, Imagen collaborated with Pic-Time, a client-facing photo gallery where photographers may display final changes for clients to purchase, during the initial deployment. Photographers may now submit final modifications directly from Imagen to Pic-Time galleries, eliminating the need for additional export and upload processes. The capability can output high-quality JPEG files on its own or alongside Lightroom Classic as an additional organizational tool.

Imagen aims to deliver a comprehensive post-production experience by reducing photographers’ time spent editing photographs. The program employs artificial intelligence to expedite the operation, adapting editing to each photographer’s style. With the integration of “Edit To Delivery,” Imagen intends to eliminate the need for photographers to switch between several apps.
