About me
My primary education was in psychiatry and psychoanalysis. Photography became a passion strongly connected with my work. I work clinically as a psychoanalyst at his Psychoanalytic Atelier in Salwator, Krakow and have published papers and presented lectures on psychoanalysis and art, presented my photographs at exhibitions and conferences.
Together with other psychoanalytic psychotherapists we formed the „Photoanalysts collective”. We present ourselves as “Psychoanalysts of mind-scapes.” What draws us together are Photographs and words. Pictograms and stories.
“We are a group of psychoanalysts, psychotherapists and photographers. All of us use words to describe our world. But words, as all thoughts, come from our sensory perception of the world. We all experience potential meaningful sensory perceptions.
From these visual stimuli, thoughts and dreams arise.
The first thoughts we have as humans, after being born, and even in utero, are pictograms. They accompany the other sensory perceptions like smell and sound with olfactograms and audiograms respectively.
Every pictogram can be developed into a new personal experience.
Every pictogram can be then further developed into a dream. We dream our everyday activity and experience. We revolve round and evolve with pictures and words. Yet it’s always more than the picture shows and the words on the cover say.”
I am passionate about street photography, family life and cycling.
