Hi, I am Dipayan Bose. I am an inhabitant of Asansol of West Bengal. It was 2012. After completing my high school education, I shifted to Kolkata for graduate studies and that was the very moment when I came to know about photography. I went on a family trip to Rajasthan in 2013 and my journey with photography began. One of my photos from the trip won the “Fox Traveller Photography Contest”, which was taken with a point and shoot camera. My hobby towards photography turned into Passion and later I choose it as a profession. After graduation, I have worked under so many companies as a freelance photographer. In the beginning stage, I was mostly interested in streets and human interests. I got a huge interest in Documentary and photo stories after doing an advanced photography course from an institute named ’Click Starts From Kalighat’. Now I am a Photography Lecturer in ICAT DESIGN & MEDIA College based in Chennai. As a photographer, I always believed in creativity rather than gears. The path from being an Accountancy student to a Professional Photographer was not easy at all. But I never lose my hope. I always try to learn some new things and eager to work under any circumstances. Presently I indulge myself in shooting various kinds of documentary and Photostory including social imagery, people, rituals and nature. According to my Documenting human life, social issues, and environmental stories through photography is not only a documentation process but also it’s proof of time or incident.
