Born in 1956, I had a strong interest in photography since adolescence, my first real camera was a Leica M3, that I still have and occasionally use. I processed since the beginning all my films, in my own dark room, mainly in B and W, but also color slides and color prints. Converted to digital with compact cameras I felt a great miss for my old cameras and glasses, but the dark room processing was no more possible for time incompatibility with my real work, and I didn't accept the standard processing of a lab. Now I happily use a full frame captor camera and my old glasses, in manual focus. Still miss the dark room work.
