Harry Weinberg (born in Warsaw 1939) He started his photography education at the Phototechnical School in Warsaw, where he studied with among others and for eg. with the famous international jazz music photographer Marek Karewicz and the photographer of Polish actors Zofia Nasierowska. In the late 50s, he worked briefly as a photography instructor at the Cultur Palace in Warsaw. Important and formative experience in the early 60s was cooperation with the best Polish artist photographer after II World War, Edward Hartwig (as an assistant), during which he learned to photograph Theater and gained valuable technical skills. In 1962, in a competition organized by the press magazine "Stolica", received the first important prize in his career for the photo of the "Roadway associations". At the beginning of 1963 he was employed as the deputy head of the photo laboratory at the Polonia publishing house. There, he participated in the process of selecting and post-producing photos for the "Polska" monthly press magazine, thanks to which he established relationships with photographers working for the magazine. In 1965, he took the position of a photojournalist in "Poland" - the East ("Polsza") edition, he was associated with the editorial office until 1976. He photographed, among others numerous cultural events (eg Piwnica pod Baranami, National Festival of Polish Song in Opole, Hybrydy Club), industry and topics related to science and education. In 1973 he became a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers. After leaving the monthly press magazine "Polsza", he began to specialize in advertising photography and photography on Jewish subjects.
