Ioannis Liarmakopoulos graduated the School of Nursing of the University of Athens in 1997, and the School of Theology of the said University in 2009. He was awarded his MSc in Clinical Nursing in 2003. He involved himself more consistently in art for the first time in 2003, studying in the School of Byzantine Iconography of the Archdiocese of Piraeus. He entered the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA) in 2013, after studying drawing and painting with painter Nicolas Christoforakis. There Ioannis studied for five years in the 1st Painting Workshop under professor Aggelos Antonopoulos and assistant professor Manolis Merabeliotis. Meanwhile he also studied Sculpture and Photography in the respective workshops of ASFA. Ioannis has participated in quite a few shows during his studies. He had his Degree Show, which consisted of the photographic series “Imagines Noctis”, in June 2019. He was awarded with “Excellent”. Ioannis Liarmakopoulos currently works as a RN in the Veteran's Army Hospital in Athens
