Kushal Gangopadhyay, is a serious amateur photographer pursuing photography passionately since 1980. He is an avid traveler and roamed throughout India and in many parts of the world, capturing land and life. He is an accredited artist of Lalit Kala Akademi, India’s National Academy of Art. He held solo exhibition at India International Centre in New Delhi and Academy of Fine Arts in Kolkata in 2007. One of his photograph has been used in postage stamp issued by Vatican City postal department to raise awareness on desertification in 2006. A National Academy Award winner in photography, he has also won awards in many International competitions organized by UNWTO, UNCCD, ACCU, Nikon, Canon, Sony etc.
