About me
I started out in photography at the age of 12 when my father gave me a camera. It took me awhile to settle into a style of photography as it wasn't easy to find role models before the internet days. But photography changed my life and I can't imagine not being a photographer.
I had an idea that I would become an architectural photographer. Buildings have always fascinated me. However, people were always walking into my shot. One day I lost my patience and continued taking photos with people in them. I had never heard of street photography. I call it my happy accident.
I am still fascinated with architecture. But I can't image taking photos without people in them now. I have been shooting street for at least a dozen years now and I never tire of it.
I am also very much involved in abstract photography. I call myself a backwards painter. I thoroughly enjoy the activity of shooting street photography and I'd like to think that photography can change the world for the better. One photo at a time.
