My name is Massimo Alfano, I live in Rovato in the province of Brescia (Italy). I like to think photography as a form of art but at the same time as a tool to document our time. I prefer portrait reportage and street photography, although I don’t have any particular problems in using more current means and forms of expression. During these years I have increasingly found interest in photographic projects rather than in single photographs. Projects that require time, research and a deepening insight in the chosen subject. I like to describe concepts and arguments about present social and sociological phenomena, especially those that sometimes concern me as a citizen and sometimes as a father. My biggest ambition? It is to become a storyteller with the aim of telling interesting stories through images.
