Nebojša Radosavljević Raus was born on 19. april 1965. in Kragujevac, Serbia. He has been a professional photographer since 1982. His first photographs were published in student`s papers ` Pogledi` and `NON`. Later on he started working for the most prominent newspapers in former Yugoslavia, such as `NIN`, `START`, `the VECERNJE NOVOSTI`, `EUREKA`, `DZUBOKS`. He, also, spent some time in Greece working for Athens daily paper `the ELEFTOROTIPIJA`. In the early nineties when the new countries in the Balkans were formed, he continued his professional activity in the opposition daily paper of new Yugoslavia `the DNEVNI TELEGRAF`. His photograps were exhibited at many individual and group exhibitions and he has won a number of awards and prizes. He is the author of a recognised photo-monograph `IT IS THE PEOPLE THAT HAPPENED 1988-2000`. Currently he is working for and contributing to several weekly issues,`ASSOCIATED PRESS AGENCY` , as well as for all of the Serbian publications of the `RINGIER AXEL SPRINGER` company.
