Chinese lens manufacturer 7Artisans has just announced a new lens compatible with APS-C cameras: the 7Artisans 35mm F/0.95. This entirely manual lens will be available in Sony E-mount, Canon M-mount, Nikon Z-mount, FUJIFILM X-mount, and MFT lens mount.

If you’re new to 7Artisans, this Chinese lens manufacturer is known for making very fast manual photographic lenses at an affordable price.

In fact, this lens which retails for just $255, is constructed of 11 elements in 8 groups, has an aperture range of f/0.95–16, offers a minimum focusing distance of 37cm (14.5”), and has a 12-blade aperture diaphragm.
It offers a 43º angle of view, has a de-clicked aperture dial, and weighs only 369g (13oz).

The 35mm f/0.95 is currently available for pre-order and will begin shipping at the end of November internationally from any 7Artisans retailer.
