Acer Unveils New ConceptD 7 Ezel, a Laptop with Nvidia RTX Graphics, Wacom Pen Support and 100% Adobe RGB
The Taiwanese brand has unveiled the ConceptD 7 Ezel and Ezel Pro RTX Studio laptops: “creator” laptops with Wacom pen support, 100% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space, and a “transforming” design that makes it easy to use the laptop’s display as a drawing tablet when photo editing.
“We’re expanding our ConceptD line with new convertible notebook form factors to support professionals in their creative endeavors,” said Jerry Kao, Co-COO, Acer Inc. “Ideally suited for professionals creating 2D and 3D work, we’re excited to expand the line with these powerful new tools that can assist more creators.”
The company is keen to emphasize that its new laptop’s screen is highly color-accurate, making it suitable for creative work. The screen covers 100 percent of the Adobe RGB color gamut, and it has a color accuracy of Delta E <2. Acer says the laptop’s screen has a peak brightness of 400 nits and features an anti-glare coating.
The basic Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel can be outfitted with up to a 10th Gen Intel Core H-series processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 GPU, 32GB of RAM and 2TB NVMe PCIe SSDs.
Meanwhile, the Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro can come with up to an Intel Xeon processor, an Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 GPU, 32GB of RAM, 2TB NVMe PCIe SSDs, ECC memory support, and Windows 10 Pro.
The ConceptD 7 Ezel will start at $2,700 while the ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro starts a a whopping $3,100.
