CineStill, a film manufacturer, is increasing its product offers for analog photographers. The popular CineStill 400D will soon be offered in 4×5 large format sheets.

CineStill first released its 400D film after a successful crowdfunding effort two years ago. The campaign, which began in 35mm format, was expanded to 120 format due to its success. A limited edition 4×5 format was created for supporters of the 400D Film Maker crowdfunding campaign. Large format photographers can rejoice because it is no longer a limited edition. According to CineStill, this film was in high demand from the large format community and is now a permanent fixture.

CineStill 400D is a color film renowned for its versatility and cinematic aesthetic. It has a fine grain, excellent detail, a wide exposure range, and brilliant colors. The film has a base sensitivity of ISO 400 but a large dynamic range and can be rated anywhere from 200 to 800. Users can even increase it to 3,200 for even greater versatility.

The film is suitable for a wide range of subjects, including portraits, landscapes, and fine art. It is designed for C-41 processing, which can be performed in a laboratory or at home.
