Falcam, a manufacturer of accessories, has unveiled the Falcam Maglink Quick Magnetic Buckle Shoulder Strap, a new camera strap. The new strap is available in three styles: Lite, Classic, and Pro, with pricing ranging from $30 to $60 for each and each offering a slightly different look.
Each strap’s innovative magnetic fast buckle is an essential component. The main camera strap attaches magnetically to a camera attachment point, making it simple for photographers to remove the strap when not in use.

Similar to the well-known anchor system from Peak Design and the Slide camera straps, Falcam’s buckles feature a magnetic attachment that should make them easier to use. Falcam guarantees that the quick buckle can only be released by deliberate, direct pulling to prevent inadvertent detachment.

Photographers can alter the Falcam Maglink strap’s connection point, including places at standard camera strap attachment points or the camera’s base, thanks to the brand’s matching quick-release plates. Users can utilize the strap as a standard neck, shoulder, or sling strap by attaching Maglink accessories from Falcam.

The three straps have different lengths and materials. While the Classic and Pro models’ adjustment range is 990-1,450mm, the Maglink Lite’s range is 790-1,400mm. All three models have a quick-change shoulder strap length function that lets users quickly modify the strap length with just one hand by pulling on a leather drawstring.

Nylon is the material used to create the Maglink Lite. The soft elastic cotton added to the Classic strap also contains nylon. When hauling heavy equipment, the Maglink Pro’s addition of symmetrical shoulder cushions and skin-friendly suede cowhide makes the strap more comfortable. While the mid-range Classic version has fewer shoulder pads than the Pro strap, the Lite version has no shoulder padding. According to Falcam’s testing, all three straps have a load-bearing capacity of 60 kg.
