Leica Announces a Firmware Update v1.6.1 to M11 Cameras
A new firmware update for the Leica M11 digital rangefinder was made available today. While the previous firmware added new functionality, version 1.6.1 addresses a few bugs. Particularly, this firmware is made to fix the periodic camera freezing problem that certain M11 users have recently been experiencing. Yet although this problem only affects a small proportion of customers, Leica advises all M11 owners to install the update because it will only improve the camera’s stability. An even more uncommon exposure fault has also been rectified, along with minor bug fixes and overall efficiency improvements, in addition to the camera freezing problem.
The firmware update can be downloaded from Leica’s website.
