LumaTouch Unveils the Major Release LumaFusion 3.1
LumaTouch has announced a major update to LumaFusion, the mobile multitrack editing platform. LumaFusion v3.1 improves the color workflow experience by adding Scopes, which shows histograms, waveforms, and vectorscopes in real-time. Users can instantly see color adjustments during video playback. All scopes are compatible with HDR and SDR color spaces. LumaFusion 3.1 allows the simultaneous use of multiple LUTs and effects on any clip. This improvement should speed up video editing workflows.
“This new feature streamlines and accelerates the workflow for creators while giving them creative freedom to quickly add a signature ‘look’ to their content,” LumaTouch says. “Customers can even combine in-camera LUTs and multiple instances of any effect to their footage for highly-stylized, professional looking sequences.”
LumaFusion 3.1 also adds the ability to reorder audio effects, automatically backup projects, options for importing and restoring projects from backups, categorized and searchable keyboard shortcuts in iOS 15, and improved drag and drop functionality and Timeline lasso selection when using a trackpad or mouse.
In addition to these new features, the app includes the following improvements. Dropbox connectivity now shows personal and team folders. Clips are better represented in the Timeline, with transitions clearly showing their connection to media clips. The user interface features better styling throughout the app.
Beyond new features and improvements, LumaFusion 3.1 includes numerous bug fixes and solutions to other user-reported problems. LumaFusion v3.1 is a free update for existing customers, and those interested in trying the mobile editor can find it in the Apple App Store for $30.
