Nextorage Unveils the NX-P2SE SSD Series
The release of the NX-P2SE line of ultra-compact SSDs from Nextorage, a brand best known for its memory cards, marks the company’s expansion into portable storage. These SSDs promise lightning-fast transfer rates.
The new drives have 3D TLC NAND Flash and USB-C connectivity and come in 1TB and 2TB capacity options. Performance is important, especially for photo and video editors on the go, and this drive promises to deliver. According to Nextorage, the NX-P2SE series SSDs’ top read and write transfer rates will be 1,050 MB/s and 1,000 MB/s, respectively.
The company says that to get those top speeds users must connect it to products with SuperSpeed USB 10Gbp (USB 3.2 Gen2). That is made clearer because the ssd is compatible with various devices, including Chromebooks, iPads, Android devices, Windows PCs, and Macs. Also compatible with PlayStation 4 and 5 systems.
“NX-P2SE series has been confirmed to work on various devices such as PCs, tablets, and smartphones. Since it is formatted with exFAT at the time of shipment, it can be used immediately on a Windows PC or Mac. USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable are included to be used with various devices,” the company says.
The slim 19-gram new NX-P2SE series drives are small enough to nestle in your hand or a small pocket. The business is doubling down on that portability by introducing a luxurious and stylish carrying pouch made of PU leather. According to Nextorage, this pouch is visually appealing and practical because it shields the drive from dirt and harm. While the SSD is covered by the bag, it can still be used.
The drive also is compatible with Nextorage’s data recovery software, Memory Card File Rescue. The Nextorage NX-P2SE series portable SSDs are available in 1TB and 2TB versions for $75 and $140, respectively.
