Samyang has just launched their first autofocus lens for Fujifilm X mount, the Samyang AF 12mm f/2 X, designed to meet the Fuji X mirrorless digital camera photographers’ consistent needs for a wide-angle autofocus lens.
Like the same lens for sony e-mount, the AF 12mm f/2 X is a dream lens for shooting magnificent landscapes that go beyond the normal viewing angle, built with Samyang’s optical design technology, and advanced AF technology.

At 7.51oz in weight, 2.33” in length, this compact, rugged, yet lightweight autofocusing lens offers the best combination of value and performance than ever before. What’s more, it provides a rectilinear 99.1°angle of view, and with the added protection of weather sealing, and a Rear Protector Glass, it allows for lots more versatility.

Utilizing the newest Linear Stepping Motor technology, the Samyang 12mm f/2.0 AF lens combines a more compact design with improved auto-focus performance. By requiring the movement of only a single focusing group, it delivers especially fast, quiet, and precise focusing, whether shooting stills or videos. The design also allows for close focusing to 7.48” with no change in length or front element rotation.
