Sigma has proved to us an incredible price-performance ratio, and to accommodate the request from many street photographers who expressed the strong interest in using the familiar 28mm with Art line quality, Sigma introduces the new 28mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art, based on the know-how gained through development of the Art F1.4 prime lens lineup released so far.

The new Sigma 28mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens for Sigma, Nikon F, Canon EF and Sony E mounts will be priced at $1,399 and pre-orders are already open.

Shipping will start on January 25th. The launching date of the Sony E-mount version is not determined yet.

Forefront and rear lenses incorporate a water and oil-repellent coating that allows water to be wiped away easily and prevents oil and fat from sticking to the surface, even in challenging shooting conditions.

At the same time, the maintenance of the lens surface becomes easier.

This lens features a highly effective dust and splash-proof structure with special sealing at the mount connection, manual focus ring, zoom ring, and cover connection, allowing street photographers to work in all types of weather.
