Venus Optics Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL for Canon RF Mount Now Available
Venus Optics, the manufacturer that specializes in making unique camera lenses, has announced the availability of the Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL for Canon RF mount camera systems.
Offering to street photographers an exceptional ultra-wide experience, the Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL is a rectilinear wide-angle lens that was designed for use with full-frame mirrorless cameras and was only available in Leica M, Sony FE, Nikon Z, and L mount until today.
The Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL is a manual lens constructed of 14 elements in 10 groups with an aperture range of f/4.5 through f/22. The optical construction of the lens includes 2 aspherical elements and 3 extra-low dispersion elements that Laowa claims increases the sharpness, and suppresses chromatic aberrations and distortion. It features a five-blade aperture diaphragm to create clean and appealing stunning 10-point sunstars. The remarkable 126° angle of view with 19cm minimum focus distance can be found in this 6.3cm long and in only 254g of weight.
A 62mm filter can be screwed onto the lens directly, or 100mm-wide filters can be used.

Laowa 11mm f/4.5 FF RL is now available in Leica M, Sony FE, Nikon Z, Canon RF, and L mount. MSRP in the US is US$799 (Leica M) and US$699 (other mounts).
