Vivo Released the V25 and V25 Pro
The V25 and V25 Pro are the latest devices in Vivo’s V series. The smartphone boasts superior photography features that can be used to capture both photos and videos.
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer claims that the V25 series’ superior camera capabilities and cutting-edge imaging technology allow it to capture moments perfectly. This promise is led by what Vivo calls a flagship-level 64-megapixel OIS (optical image stabilized) camera, which the company claims reduce blurry shots and allows for longer exposure times, allowing photographers to capture clearer and brighter images and videos even in low-light situations.
In addition to the main camera, the V25 series has an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel super macro camera on the back, as well as a hole-punch style center camera on the front that pokes through the slightly curved screen. The V25 Pro has a lower-resolution selfie camera (32-megapixel) than the V25 (50-megapixel). Both models have autofocus and eye-autofocus capabilities, as well as artificial intelligence (AI) HD algorithm that is designed to optimize sharpness. The V25 Pro also includes Vivo’s AI skin retouching algorithm, which the company claims provides an airbrushed look when needed.
The V25 Pro’s performance at night, according to Vivo, stands out due to its upgraded Super Night Mode feature, which the company claims accurately restores the colors and brightness of highly saturated images at night. When used with the new Real-Time Extreme Night Vision feature, users can manually adjust the exposure intensity when previewing an image, improving the brightness, noise control, and details of photos in real-time, even in low-light environments.
Vivo’s Super Night Video feature, which brightens and reduces noise in low-light situations, also improves video quality. Both V25 models include the company’s Natural Portrait video mode, which it claims improves overall skin texture and image clarity. The V25 and V25 Pro also include a new Vlog Movie feature that, according to Vivo, improves the filming experience by providing video templates and tutorials to show users how to shoot in various scenarios such as night, food, cityscapes, and more.
Vivo also improved the Multi-Style Portrait feature in the front camera, which now includes fun filters that the company claims improve the video experience. The Multi-Style Portrait feature also includes a new Motion Blur effect, which separates people from the background for better portraits, according to the company.
The V25 Pro comes in Surfing Blue and Starlight Black, while the V25 comes in Aquamarine Blue, Sunrise Gold, and Diamond Black. Vivo is introducing the series in 20 markets, including India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Pakistan, Mexico, and the UAE. Pricing varies by country, and North American and European releases aren’t mentioned.
