Winners of the Aussie Street Photography Competition Announced
The winners for the Aussie Street 2019 Photography competition that has just ended, have been announced.
The images were judged by photographers Matt Stuart, Jesse Marlow, Jorge Garcia, and Meg Hewitt, and were announced at the festival opening on Friday 20 September.
The competition was part of the wider AUSSIE STREET festival, which included a program of local and international competitions, exhibitions, artist talks, and workshops.

The competition was curated and judged by an expert judging panel including special festival guests and members of the exhibited collectives as Alison McCauley, Andy Kochanowski, Danielle Houghton, Graciela Magnoni, Guille Ibanez, Jesse Marlow, Jorge Garcia, Kristin Van den Eede, Lauren Welles, Mathias Wasik, Tom Young, Rammy Narula, Michelle Rick, Melissa O’Shaughnessy, Meg Hewitt, Matt Stuart.
With both local and international competitions, exhibitions, artist talks, and workshops planned, AUSSIE STREET brings Australian Street photography to the world’s stage by connecting local and international street photography communities. The festival marks AUSSIE STREET’s place among the growing global calendar of events that celebrate and promote street photography.
The festival will be back in 2020.
