About me
At the heart of my work, you’ll inevitably find people & lots of them too. I’m a self-taught artist who learnt my skills on the streets of London. My work ranges from personalised portraitures, event photography and photojournalism “a study of protest movements”. As well as creative self-developed street photography projects. It becomes visible from viewing my photography that I’m committed to capturing a story whilst also producing art.
From photographing London's iconic sites, the backstreets of Porto and dusty pathways in India, I call these “All places where the magic happens”. During my exploratory walks documenting London, I would interact with many people, always keen to take their portraits.
With my tailored portraiture assignments, clients are taken on an inspiring journey discovering locations to create, what we described as ‘magic in a photograph’. I work with both digital and analogue (35mm film).
I can spend days, weeks and years pursuing self-funding projects, always working solitary and often leaving me broke. I view photojournalism as a photographers duty, documenting social issues and people’s struggles. It's not about likes on social media sites, its more about me, you, we. I now offer out my knowledge and skills to those who are in need. People say it’s clear to see my obsession/passion and strong love for my work. You just need to speak to me for a few minutes to be drawn into my wonderful world of photography. I say “One day I’ll make it, one day, perhaps today”.
