Paulina Alekisc was born in Zajecar, Serbia. Currently she is a student at University of Nis, Serbia (Faculty of Arts, Graphic design department, 4 year Bachelor program). In December 2017, she formed Independent non-profit artistic group Peta128 with 6 more students. The aim of the group is to promote art and culture. The group is also involved in volunteer work. They took part in the action of painting the ordinances of the Nis’ hospital and in two humanitarian exhibitions. She has participated in 6 exhibitions with the group: ▪ 7/2019: Lost&Found Art zone - Group exhibition with Peta128 and 3 independent artists organized as a part of the Lost&Found music festival in Brestovacka banja, Bor. Paulina participated with a composition of 9 collages and one photography. ▪ 12/2018: Stodvaesosam - Group exhibition with Peta128 in Café bar SBS, Nis. ▪ 6/2018: Lost&Found Art zone - Group exhibition with Peta128 and 5 independent artists organized as a part of the Lost&Found music festival in Brestovacka banja, Bor. Paulina participated with a composition of 81 collages. ▪ 5/2018: Prva pa Peta - Group exhibition hosted by Peta128 in which Paulina participated with a personal panel holding a composition of 8 collages in Café bar Dvoriste, Nis. ▪ 3/2018: Budi Covek - Humanitarian group exhibition showcasing prints in linocut and linogravure in Oficirski Dom gallery, hosted by Peta128. ▪ 1/2018: Petar Pan - Humanitarian exhibition with Peta128. Paulina participated with several linocuts, collages and photographs which were showcased in Public Theatre in Nis during the play with the same name. Group has collected and donated over 45000RSD. Hosted by George M, CEO of Continuum Dance Theatre. In addition to projects with the group "Peta128", she has exhibited works in 4 more exhibitions: ▪ 10/2019: Pravo na rad - Group photography exhibition, hosted by CASS (Center for Anti-Authoritarian Studies) in Cultural institution Stari grad, Beograd. ▪ 10/2019: Mala grafika - Novi Sad 2019. – Group exhibition of small format prints, hosted by gallery La Vista, Novi Sad. ▪ 1/2019: 355 - Solo exhibition in Youth Community Center, Zajecar, followed by the concert of performers from Zajecar. The idea was to promote art to fellow citizens by showing them art that we made through different media and to make this event every year with more and more local artist. 7/2018: Outhide Art zone - Group exhibition of Nevena Vicentic and Paulina Aleksic. Paulina participated with 12 collages. Hosted by Outhide festival in Historical Archive, Zajecar.
