This image was taken whilst in Rome. I had been been captivated with the silhouettes of passers by casting continuous stories upon the sun drenched backdrop. I stood there watching the silhouettes come and go, when suddenly a tender moment between a elderly couple cast its shadow through my viewfinder. When I look at this photograph I feel like it has this magical effect of making you think that it is slowing down time, just for this couple to make it down the steps together.
