The light bearer and giver of hope seen on the avenues & alleyways of our city. I have seen her every night on the same location (right in front of Sto. Rosario church, just beside the stop light) & if you happen to regularly wait for a jeepney there you would definitely see her. Most of the people who buy candles and ask for a prayer from her are the ones riding motorbikes since private cars rarely open their windows. And obviously it is really difficult for the vendor to manoeuvre her wheelchair just to get the money, This is total sacrifice and nobody seems to recognize the determination this person is doing. It may look simple and normal, sadly completely ignored. but in my humble existence I am inspired by what this candle vendor is doing.
