This series shows the interactions between tourists and locals which take place along Trần Phú, Hanoi. I was interested by how intimately the women who live along this street know the rhythm of the train which runs so closely to their homes. In the minutes before it arrives they will clear the track of tables and chairs, customers and children. I was also interested in the street after the train departs; the tourists for the most part clear away, and it is quiet.
