Odd Mexico is a series of photographs that seek to portray and show surreal elements and typical qualities that make Mexico an exceptional place. The photographs were taken from different routes and drifts within the city of Guanajuato. The characteristic elements presented in the photographs are extracted from different daily places of the city, such as natural environments, businesses, markets, and living spaces.
The interest in these manifestations arises from the inquiry into the concept of memory. From visual studies I analyze the different modifications and temporary adaptations that affect objects, spaces and people.
