You know one of those moments when something catches your eye, and that split second you turn your head towards the scene, you get an image in your head of what you think you saw or seen? In my case those moments always end up with a scene that’s quite far away from that image you projected in your head. Not for this photo. The light was there, highlighting the woman. The stools where there, giving the depth of field. And as I saw the photo through my viewfinder, someone walked through the door to the cafe and as the door closed I took the photo and captured the interior of the space as a cherry on cake.
