People gathering around a Russian tank, posing, taking selfies, making memories.
Activists parked the remains of a Russian T-72 tank on the boulevard Unter den Linden, in front of the Russian embassy in Berlin, to protest the ongoing war in Ukraine on its first anniversary.
On Thursday afternoon, the tank was still in Poland, a few kilometers from the German border.
In the early morning on Friday, the wreck was finally parked in front of the embassy.
Enno Lenze and Wieland Giebel from the Berlin Story Bunker museum said by this action they want to demonstrate the brutality and horror of the war.
