In Bangladesh people like me often see many homeless people roaming around. We often call them ‘Street Beggars’. Many of them don’t have any work or job to do. Many of them are old people. Many of them are physically disabled. In our culture when our parents gets old; we are the one who take care of them. Normally, we don’t abandon them or live separate from them. Our culture doesn’t support this. But still some people abandon their parents or live separately. Those parents become helpless. It is rare scenario in third world country where old parents can live happily without any type of help provided by their son(s). In this photo a helpless guy with one leg also begging from person to person. He is trying to survive this cruel world. In back of the person the world is written in Bengali language is বিপ্লবী / Biplabi which means in English is ‘Revolutionary’ . I don’t know what it explains in English but in our language the word বিপ্লবী and that disabled man explains a lot. This indicates that man is surviving against hostility.
