About me
He was born in 1974 in the Iranian Kurdistan. In 1992, he entered the photography field at Tehran University of Art. After four years, he accepted and continued his postgraduate photographer's degree at the same university. Along with his studies, he worked on documentary and anthropological photography, especially the Kurds of the Middle East, and cultural and political issues about them. In 2001, as a Photography Professor, he was employed by Tabriz University of Art. He also became a photography teacher at the Art Conservatory. In 2004, he won the FIAP honorary diploma from the Giovanni Chrispi Festival in Italy for the portrait of Kurdish old woman. In 2006, he won the First Prize at the China's Humanity photo award (HPA) Biennial Festival. In 2009, he was one of the finalists of the Sony Photography Festival in the Arts and Entertainment in profesional sector. But unfortunately, due to Iran being among the five international sanctions, his name was removed. In 2011, he won the China Photo Biennial Jury Prize. In short, he has been active in many festivals as finalists and at many international exhibitions. In general, his photography subjects are Kurds and their environment. Kurdish Yazidi refugees, Kurds in Iraq and Turkey ... and especially Iran.
