I am an armature photographer and perusing photography since year 2000 as I started photography from Jadavpur University Photography Club during my studies in the university. Initially I started my photography with 35mm film format and now I am using digital media. During the time I nourished my passion in photography through different books of photography and online tutorial. I love different genre of photography but mostly people photography. I like to meet and know people of different locations, to understand their livelihood for making life more comfortable, their belief and faith, their values etc. I also try to find creative visualization within people activity. By profession I am an electrical engineer and working for public utility service as an Executive Engineer in Public Health Engineering. My photography has been exhibited a many time in different photography exhibitions. My works have been published in national and international magazines and photo books. I am a recipient of Govt. of India National Award for Photography. My shots are also selected in different international photo contests. After all I enjoy photography a lot.
