I am a 59-year-old amateur, passionate about photography. I love the photos of such masters as Ernst Haas, Saul Leiter, Alex Webb, Harry Gruyeart and many others whose works inspired me to create something of my own. These are constant attempts to get closer, even to a minimal extent, to something unattainable, something that will not be there in a moment, or maybe has never been. It is a dream of immortalizing and leaving images for yourself and your loved ones, a break from everyday life, a kind of therapy and mental stimulation. Several of my photos have received awards at Paris International Street Photo. In 2020, I received an award in the "Memory" photo competition in the photo reportage category on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising. I dedicated the work to my deceased father, a witness of those events. In 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 my works were recognized at the ParisStreet Photo Awards and in 2023 at the Chromatic Photography Awards. Three of my works have been qualified for the Xposure 2024 festival.
