Giovanni Zoda was born in 1980 in Catania where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and lives in Milan. He holds a master's degree in art for liturgy and a research doctorate in art and multimedia at the Kore University of Enna. Dedicated to painting at a very young age, since 2003 he has been present in numerous group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. In 2009 and 2013 he made two "Personals" in Rome and Catania. His works have been and are exhibited in prestigious institutions including the Venice Biennale (54th edition), the Permanent Museum and the Pac Museum in Milan, the Royal Palace of Caserta, the Solyst Museum in Copenhagen, the Chateau du Terral in France. For many years he has been practicing photography, which he considers a "language without syntax" which lends itself both to the study and experimentation of the image and to the deepening of an aesthetic field that, outside of any "narrative" articulation, opens up to new forms of representation. He has participated in numerous exhibitions.
